Rescheduling a Session as a Therapist

Here's how to reschedule a session if you're unable to attend

If you need to reschedule a session you have the option to do so if the session is starting more than 24 hours from now.

If the session is starting within 24 hours, it cannot be rescheduled, and therefore, you will need to reach out to customer support and request to cancel the session as well as notify the client immediately.

However, if it is scheduled for more than 24 hours then follow these steps to reschedule. 

1. First, send a message to the client letting them know you are going to need to reschedule the session. Please also inform them of the reason for the rescheduling.

Important: Under no circumstances should a session be rescheduled without the client agreeing to it first. It is a violation of our policy to reschedule a session without gaining approval from the client beforehand.

 

2. To reschedule the session, go to Dashboard and you will be able to see 'Upcoming Appointments', then click on Reschedule next to the appointment you would like to Reschedule.

 

3. Select a date, time and enter the reason for rescheduling and click on Reschedule to continue.

Please note if you are providing an alternative date and time to your clients for the session rescheduling, please make sure you update your availability and add the new date and time, if not already added, otherwise it will not be available to select from the list.

 

Once done, click on Reschedule to confirm the new appointment.

A message will appear confirming the session has been rescheduled.

Click on Ok to be re-directed to your Dashboard where you will be able to see the rescheduled session.
