Introduction

We are excited to introduce a long-awaited, new enhancement to our platform — the integration of our training modules onto our system. This update brings digitised versions of key training programs including Leadership, Mental Health First Aiders, and Resilience Training. These training courses will now be accessible through "Courses", which can be found under the "Academy" section. This initiative is a big step forward in providing complete, scalable, and accessible self-led learning directly on the platform.

Motivation

The primary goal of this enhancement is to facilitate easier access to our training content, allowing users to engage with and complete courses at their own pace. By integrating these training modules into the platform, we provide a seamless learning journey where users can navigate video content, pause, and resume their training as needed, fostering a flexible and user-centric learning environment.

Impact

Benefits for Users

  • Direct Access to Training: Users now have immediate access to training on the platform, significantly enhancing the learning experience.

  • Self-Directed Learning: The platform supports a self-paced learning approach, enabling users to engage with the content based on their individual schedules and preferences.

  • CPD Certification: After successfully completing the training, users can take the necessary CPD questionnaire to receive their CPD certificates, recognising their professional development and achievements. Currently, the questionnaire is facilitated outside the platform (via TypeForm), and certificates are not stored or managed by the platform. This functionality will be included with the future LMS feature.

Implications for Partners

This feature is provided free to all users that currently have Training access as part of their organisation's package. At Plumm we are committed to user development in as much as we prioritise user satisfaction. It's essential for our partners to be aware of this advantage as we continue to enhance our Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities. In the future, organisations will be able to assign users to specific trainings, offering a more robust and interactive experience.

All partners with Training included in their package will gain access to the self-directed trainings. This offer will continue until the LMS platform is officially launched, and the partner renews their contract, with negotiations open for continuation.

In discussions with partners, it's crucial to emphasise the following points:

  • Value-Added Offering: The inclusion of high-quality, digitised training content within the platform is highlighted as a value-added service for both users and partners.

  • Professional Development: The availability of CPD certification through the platform enhances the professional development offerings for users.

  • Commitment to Accessibility: Providing this feature for free during the initial phase reflects our dedication to user education and ease of access.

Pricing

There is currently no impact on pricing. Once the LMS feature goes live and partner contracts are renewed, the LMS will become an add-on service.
