How to Onboard a Candidate > Hire
This guide explains the process of onboarding a selected candidate via the 'Hire' feature.

- Drag and drop the candidate to the "Hired" phase, or click "Onboard" via the three dots next to the candidate's name.
- Add necessary documents like resumes or contracts to the candidate's personal folder.
- Fill in basic details, contract specifics, and role history. This information is automatically saved to the candidate's profile for access post-onboarding.
- Manually assign policies, schedules, handbooks, or use global settings for automatic access based on position.
- Send an email invite from Plum to welcome the candidate to the platform. This will help them to log in, view their profile, and integrate into their teams.
