Welcome to the "Calendar" feature in your Admin Settings section - where you can view and manage calendars as an administrator. This guide will walk you through the process of viewing and filtering different calendars with their details. You'll also learn how to add new calendars based on different countries and their holidays.

Prerequisites

To access and configure Calendars, you must have administrative privileges within your organisation's Plumm account.

Accessing the Feature

  1. Log in to your Plumm account using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to 'Admin' in the features tab and hover over it. Now, look for 'Settings' in the pop-up menu and click on it.
  3. Under the "Settings" menu, you will find an option for "Calendars." Click on it to view and configure your calendars.

Detailed Feature Guide

Section 1: Viewing and Filtering Calendars

In the "Calendars" section, you can:

  • View a list of existing Calendars, including their types and details.
  • Edit the details of each calendar, such as calendar name and associated holidays.
  • View the total number of locations linked to your calendars.
  • Add events to any calendar, or delete events that you no longer want on the calendar.
  • Duplicate calendars or events to use as templates or to save as a back-up.

Section 2: Adding New Calendar Types

To add new calendars based on different countries and their holidays, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the "Add Calendar" button and click on it.
  2. Provide the following details for the new calendar:
    • Calendar Name: Give the calendar a descriptive name (e.g., "UK Holidays").
    • Description: Add a brief description or additional details about the calendar. Click the "Generate" button if you would like AI to generate it for you. 
    • Select the "Choose from Template" tick-box if you prefer not to create the calendar from scratch. 
    • Click the "Select" drop-down menu to select a country.
    • Click "save" to save your new calendar to your calendar list.

Section 3: Managing Existing Calendars

You can manage existing calendars by:

  • Editing Calendar Details: Click on the three dots next to the given calendar's name and click "Edit."
  • Deleting Calendars: Remove calendars that are no longer in use by clicking on the three dots next to the given calendar's name and then clicking on the "Delete" option.

  • Regularly review and update your calendars to ensure they accurately reflect the holidays and observances of different countries or regions where your teams operate.
  • Use the "Search" feature to quickly find and view specific calendars based on the country, region, or holidays of interest.
